MLA Style Guide

The Modern language association or MLA style guide is one of the most commonly used style and format of writing in academia and publications. MLA is mostly in practice in the spectrum of liberal arts and humanities.

The MLA style guide is in many ways similar to the APA style guide. While it doesn’t present the same ultimate format as APA, it adds up more conditions and citation aspects.

The MLA style writing is mostly printed on a standard 8.5 X 11 inch paper with times new roman as the most used font. The text size does not exceed size 12. One line space is given after the use of a period and other punctuations are also present.
